Tara Outer - Block Print Black
Description
Effortless and timeless the Tara Outer - pair it with pants or wear it barefoot by the beach, a staple to carry always with you.
Block print textiles are the result of the combined skills of multiple artisans created in a slow process chain; the technique is a centuries-old craft. Wood blocks are hand-carved in a myriad of intricate patterns and first are dipped in the chosen colour and then pressed on to the fabric. This process is repeated over and over again until the length of the fabric is complete. the technique demands precision and patience. The fabrics are first left to dry in the sun and then are washed in water, several times and finally dried in the sun again.
